DescriptionJoin the Archaeology Officer on a walk over the windswept Lauder Common. Enjoy a moderate walk that is steeped in prehistoric sites. A great opportunity to learn about ancient burial mounds and settlements.A circular walk along part of the Southern Upland Way over Chester Hill and then following the boundary of Lauder Common before returning to the town over Brown Rig and Scarce Law. A total distance of 7 ¢ miles/12.5 kms with a total ascent of 1,140ft/300m.
